Father! Make Your Face Shine Upon Us!!

๐ŸŒปTurn! Turn! Turn!๐ŸŒป

๐ŸŽถLet the beauty of Jesus be seen in ME. All His wondrous compassion and purity…๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŒžFriday Greetings To You!๐ŸŒž

Today’s Reminder: “Psalms 80:7 (KJV) Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.”

Just like the children of Israel who were on their way to the Promised Land, so also are we. We are on our journey to inherit the Promise of God – inheriting the Kingdom. Like the Israelites, we may become miserable and wayward and of course do things that displease the Lord. Many of them missed out on the promise simply because they were rebellious and slow to repent. However, there were those who kept on crying to God because they knew that comes what may, they needed God’s help to propel them on their journey. If ever we turn to God, He will abundantly pardon. Without Jesus, we are in total darkness and destined to stumble. It is never too late to turn back to the Lord, to see His light. This beautiful light that shines from the face of God is what delivers our unsaved children, our family members and our friends from sin’s grasp. Even those of us who have been devout followers most of our lives, can turn towards God like Moses did when he cried “show me Thy glory!” This gesture can make us just as new and just as beautiful as when we first saw the light!

The Lord indeed beautifies the meek with salvation. Our constant turning to God and seeking His light keeps us properly ‘fed’ and properly ‘shed’. Yes, we will be fed in our spirit with the right information to inform our every decision and we will constantly shed all the heavy weights of sin, doubt and fear in every aspect of our lives. When we rebel against God and cause Him to be wroth with us, we become vulnerable to our enemies. Our own stubborn choices can cause our enemies to triumph over us. However, if we repent and say to God “cause Thy face to shine”, then we instantly obtain FAVOR. Favor is what makes all the difference. When favor comes the frown on God’s countenance disappear. That’s when we shall be saved – Saved from our dangers; troubles; our own sinful ways and from ruin. It is only by His smile and favor that we can have restoration and see the end of desolation. Constantly seeking God’s face keeps us REVIVED, REFRESHED, REDEEMED. May our constant prayers be “keep me in Your WILL so I won’t be in Your WAY”!

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for this day. Thank You for Your mercies which are new every morning and Your great faithfulness. Lord, we are more than grateful that Your mercies never fail us, even when we stray into our own wayward paths. Like the father of the prodigal son, Your arms are always wide opened to forgive and restore. Revive, redeem, rebuild, remodel, reshape and refresh us according to Your will and way. We bow in humility as we keep You FIRST PLACE. In Jesus’ name. Amen ๐Ÿ™ @TET-G@

The Lord Remains My Strength and Portion!

๐ŸŒปHe NEVER changes!๐ŸŒป

๐ŸŽถThough my flesh may be destroyed, yet with mine eyes I will see God! For I know that my Redeemer lives…๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŒžTuesday Greetings To You๐ŸŒž

Today’s reminder says: “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
Psalms 73:26 KJV”

No matter who we are, we all grow older. As the days turn into weeks and the weeks into months and then years, we age. As we grow on beyond certain age, our health may begin to fail – we may grow weak and even weary. There is an old saying “once a man, twice a child”. This means, twice in our lives we may experience the helplessness of a child – once when we were born and then at old age or whenever our health fails. Sometimes too, lives experiences may affect the strength of our hearts. When we experience bad breaks, separations, brokenness, disappointments, the untimely passing of our loved ones, our hearts can grow weak but God is bigger than our hearts.

Some people’s heart may grow cold and they may even become fearful of taking certain risk or doing certain things. A weakened heart may even cause us isolate and subsequently rob us of our vibrancy. In the midst of all these changes, one person never wavers and that is God. He remains the strength of our hearts and our portion FOREVER. God loves us with an everlasting love and would never turn His back on us because we are weak, sick, lame or broken. “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:16 KJV” With God’s daily help, support and strength, we receive constant renewal. Are you facing failed health? Is your heart weak and broken? Jesus cares for you, even when you can’t see nor feel Him. Whatever life throws at us, let us remain strong in the strength of the Lord.

Father God, You are our strength like no other. Your love never changes and You stick closer than a brother. As we weather life’s most boisterous storms may we keep our eyes fixed on You! We commit our weaknesses and brokenness to You because You are our Jehovah Rapha! Despite the hardknocks of life, we thank You Lord for everything as we endeavor to keep You FIRST PLACE! Amen.๐Ÿ™ @TET-G@

๐ŸŒEven at a Snail’s Pace, keep on WALKING! ๐ŸŒ

๐ŸŒปGet Your 20/20 Vision In Use!๐ŸŒป

๐Ÿง˜Life is a journey with its TWISTS and TURNS… REST if you must but don’t you QUIT!๐Ÿง˜

I would not hesitate to admit that there are various oxymorons in this life…

How often have we heard “the way up is the way”, “after the storm, there will be a calm”, or “the darkest part of the night is just before daybreak”? Reality check, all these are parts of the parcel called life.

Life will no doubt grant us a myriad of experiences and lessons. What makes them all beautiful however, is what we MAKE of them and HOW we allow them to positively shape our lives. As hard as it may sound, the bitter and the sweet; the ups and the downs; the highs and the lows; the successes and the failures; the wins and the losses, were ALL divinely orchestrated to SHAPE/FASHION you and I into who we are BECOMING!

Yes, I said BECOMING because like Paul said “I count not myself to have apprehended but this one thing I do, FORGETTING those things which are BEHIND, and REACHING forth to those things which are BEFORE, I PRESS towards the mark…”, we are all in the process of BECOMING. While our outward man may be fading, our inward man is being daily renewed. Every single day we LIVE is yet another opportunity for us to BECOME a better person than who we were yesterday.

God’s desire for us is to allow His daily, renewed mercy to beautify us. As He forgives us of our daily shortcomings, may we also forgive ourselves and others. In this human experience, we all will hurt someone or have someone hurt us – whether intentionally or unintentionally, let us release ourselves and others so we can live whole and happy lives. Forgiveness is healing for mind, soul, and body. On the contrary, Unforgiveness weakens us on our journey.

As we approach 2020 and say goodbye to 2019, may we do so with a clear, happy and grateful heart. Make every effort to thank God for EVERYTHING that the old year brought and WHATEVER the new year will bring. I said whatever, because I strongly believe what God says: “our TIMES are in His hands”, “the steps of a righteous man are ORDERED by Him”, “He makes ALL things beautiful in ITS time!” and “ALL things work together for GOOD…”.

With that said, may we ALWAYS remember and NEVER forget, that GOD is EVER PRESENT in ALL our lives experiences. So, even if it gets dark, cold, rough, lonely, stormy, windy, or painful, don’t give up! Keep on WALKING because it is not about YOU but it is about THE GOD; THE GREATER ONE that lives in you! He who lives in us is IMMUTABLE; while everyone and everything around us continue to change, HE NEVER CHANGES.

Lord Jesus, I thank You wholeheartedly for EVERYTHING, both great and small. Thank You for being there for me even when I never saw You. I commit my TIMES to you and I declare that THROUGH YOU I shall do VALIANTLY for You it is that SHALL tread down ALL my enemies. In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen. ๐Ÿ™@TET-G@

We Should Give Thanks Everyday!

๐ŸŒปDo It Well!๐ŸŒป

๐ŸŽถAnywhere You lead me I will go cause You are THE WAY, TRUTH and THE LIGHT, Jesus! My life is for Your glory!๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŒคWednesday Greetings to You!๐ŸŒค

Today’s reminder says: “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Colossians 3:17 KJV”

It is pretty easy for us to feel as though we don’t want to give our all or do our best simply because we feel unappreciated or even unrecognized. However, today’s reminder is telling us that, in everything we do or say, we should first consider God, knowing that our deeds are towards Him. He is our rewarder! It is really pointless to give our time, talents and treasures while complaining or murmuring because “The Lord loveth a cheerful giver”. Let us give of our best and do it with gratitude to God. The songwriter says “I will go WITHOUT a murmur, and His footsteps follow still”. Christ promises to go with us all the way but He rathers us going and doing it with a willing heart and mind.

If we should be honest, we have often acted like the children of Israel on their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. They never stopped murmuring and so on many occasions God had to punish them and many even lost their lives. Friends, God’s desire for us is ALWAYS to take us to a BETTER place and to get us there SAFELY! However, it is totally dependent upon our WILLINGNESS to go with Him. Our God has a plan for us and it is to PROSPER us, to give us a HOPE and a FUTURE! Despite the journey, ALWAYS do it as UNTO GOD and do it with a heart of GRATITUDE TO HIM!

Heavenly Father, thank You for today. How can I deny my waywardness and ingratitude? Many times I have like the Israelites murmured and complained – Lord, please forgive my stupidity. Indeed God, You always want and know what’s best for me. Teach me how to trust You wholeheartedly and to do what I do with You in mind. My life is really not mine and nothing I do is about ME. I desire to do it YOUR WAY Lord as I keep You FIRST PLACE! In Jesus’ name. Amen.๐Ÿ™ @TET-G@

The Way Christ Loves You, Love One Another!

๐ŸŒปLove begets Love!๐ŸŒป

๐ŸŽถLet there be LOVE shared among us, let there be LOVE in our hearts…๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŒžTuesday Greetings to You!๐ŸŒž

Today’s reminder says: “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
John 15:12 KJV”

Love has been seriously misunderstood over the years. People meet, become friends, express their “undying” love, get married and/or live together. Yet, some years later when challenges present themselves, they grow apart (love gets ‘cold’). This kind of failed love has landed many persons into depression, pain, brokenness, anger and some have even lost their possessions and/or even worst, their lives. Persons have various interpretations of love and some are greatly misled. However, today we are being reminded of HOW to love. The Bible says we should love one another as Christ love us. Christ’s demonstration of love is second to none – “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13 KJV” Just imagine such depth of love. How willing are you to give up your life to save a friend’s?

Christ’s love demonstrated SACRIFICE! Sacrifice is the act of giving up (something valued) for the sake of other considerations. This speaks to selflessness – not selfishness. The songwriter says ๐ŸŽถ”Lord, show me HOW to love, in the true meaning of the word. Teach me to sacrifice expecting nothing in return. I wanna give my life away, becoming more like You each and every day. My words are not enough, show me HOW to love”.๐ŸŽถ “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1 John 4:7 KJV“. I think then it would be safe to say “to hate is human, to love is divine”. Love then takes effort and as was said earlier, sacrifice. We can all learn to LOVE in its true meaning by fully grasping the love of God. Through developing and establishing a relationship with God (through His word and prayer), we become more like Him, hence the beauty of His Christ-like love becomes evident to others and ourselves.

Dear Lord Jesus, we honour You and thank You for Your gift of LOVE! It is by Your act of love that we have been saved, forgiven, healed and completely restored. Teach us how to love others the way You love us Lord and help us to keep You FIRST PLACE in our lives. Amen. ๐Ÿ™ @TET-G@

We Have A Better Tomorrow!

๐ŸŒปIt Soon Be Done๐ŸŒป

๐ŸŽถBut until then my heart will go on singing. Until then with JOY I will carry on…๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŒžWednesday Greetings To You!๐ŸŒž

Today’s reminder says: “Revelation 21:4 (KJV) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

With so many disappointments, bad news, untimely deaths, sufferings, anxieties and heartbreaks taking place in this present world, what better ASSURANCE. Today we are all being reminded that there is a day coming. A brighter future; a future filled with HOPE. John saw a scene that expounded the passing away of the present earth and heaven, and a new earth and heaven coming into existence. Sin has so thoroughly corrupted not only the human race but the raceโ€™s environment. God will destroy it and create a new heaven and a new earth in which righteousness will dwell. This will be the final stage in God’s plan to deliver humanity into the blessing He originally intended for us to enjoy.

What John saw in this verse, reveals the final home of Believers. The imperfect church will be perfected. There will be no need for the sun (๐ŸŽถGod himself will be the light๐ŸŽถ), no night, no curse, no death. Man will be restored to paradise and there will be no mourning, no crying, no pain. This city will be HOLY and will be forever Jesus Christ’s Capital. Finally the relationship between God and humankind that God has always desired people to enjoy will become a reality. God will dwell among His cleansed people, and they will experience intimate fellowship with Him. All our tears caused by our former life will be personally and permanently wiped by our great God. Brethren, what sweet assurance? That is indeed “Something To Hold On To!”. If your life is falling apart, take comfort in the fact that THE BEST IS YET TO BE!

When all around my soul gives way, He then is ALL my HOPE and STAY. Dear Loving Father, what a privilege it is to know that one day, all my trials will be behind me? Thank You Lord Jesus that You have promised the Believer a better, more lasting HOPE. A HOPE that maketh not ashamed. Death has by far caused the deepest pain in this life but yet it too will be swallowed. Lord, I thank You that IT WON’T ALWAYS BE LIKE THIS. Help me Father to be ready and waiting. May I never become adjusted to this world but may I build my hope on things eternal. Comfort me through all my discomforts as I keep You FIRST PLACE. In Jesus’ name. Amen ๐Ÿ™ @TET-G@

Sow On! One Day You Will Reap!

๐ŸŒปSeedtime and Harvest!๐ŸŒป

๐ŸŽถ We’ll reap whatsoever we sow… The harvest is certainly coming…๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŒžSaturday Greetings To You!๐ŸŒž

Today’s Reminder: “Galatians 6:7-8 (KJV) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

In this account Paul seems to be referring to man’s entire earthly life as a period of sowing. Then, the harvest would be awaiting him on the last day; the eschatological yield is determined by the present sowing. We cannot in any way, shape or form fool God. God who is in full view of everything that we are doing or not doing is keeping a record. This record is kept so that when our work days are over, we can be justly rewarded. Not only does God keep records but He offers inspiration for us all to make better choices each day. If we choose to be selfish and withhold what we have, then we will not see God multiply it and bless us in abundance. If we follow the prompting of our own sinful/lustful nature in our investments, we will reap death, but if we follow the Spirit, we will reap life.

To reap death is not saying we will necessarily die a physical death but it means that our sowing will yield a disappointing harvest. This is not to say however, that we cannot earn justification, but our harvest will definitely suffer if we grow weary and/or refuse to sow good seeds. Just as it is in this life, we don’t usually reap a harvest as soon as we have sown. We have to wait for what is planted to go and grow through the process, then comes the harvest. As Believers who sow to the spirit, we will inherit eternal life. It is as a gift that one receives by faith. The quality of our lives depend on the extent to which we walk with God in fellowship. Truth be told, the weight of our harvest can be sparing or bountiful depending on our labour or even the quality of our soil. Some Believers will experience eternal life to a greater extent than other Believers do. Point to note however, we can never plant corn and reap peas. There is an indisputable, factual principle that guides the whole process – we reap what we sow.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your word which enters our heart and sheds light. Help us to invest our entire lives into sowing to the spirit knowing that “only what we do for Christ will last”. We desire to reap a bountiful harvest so please help us to invest our time, talents and skills into whatever we have been called to do and never become weary. We anticipate Your strength as we keep You FIRST PLACE. In Jesus’ name. Amen ๐Ÿ™ @TET-G@

Forgive and Be Forgiven – It’s A Cycle!

๐ŸŒป Forgive And Be Forgiven!๐ŸŒป

๐ŸŽถShow me Your way, that I may walk with You…๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŒžFriday Greetings to You!๐ŸŒž

Today’s reminder says: “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Matthew 6:14 KJV”

There are many persons who are very hesitant about forgiving and very subject to revenge. They will argue that the hurt that was inflicted went way too deep for them to just overlook it and move on. However, God teaches a complete different lesson. Forgiveness is a two-way process, it is one’s ability and willingness to forgive that swings wide the door to their own forgiveness. It is FORGIVE and you will be FORGIVEN! Unforgiveness intoxicates our being and poisons the soul. I have heard it put this way – harboring unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.

Jesus used repetition to stress the importance of forgiving one another if we want God’s forgiveness. Our horizontal relationships with other people must be correct before our vertical relationship with God can be. We MUST forgive our fellow men for all sorts of injuries, or offences, whether by word or deed. We should forgive fully, freely and from the heart while forgetting all former offences; even without being asked for pardon, and though there might be no appearance of repentance. Based on our willingness to forgive, our heavenly Father will also forgive us; He will hear our prayers, and manifest His forgiving love towards us. Forgive someone today.

Dear Jesus, thank You for today. Thank You for Your love and forgiveness. Thank You that while we were sentenced to eternal death, Your mercy said no and brought us eternal life. Lord, teach us to exercise this same forgiveness toward our fellowmen. We recognize that our forgiveness of others does impact our forgiveness from You. Show us how to do it Your way as we keep You FIRST PLACE! In Jesus’ name. Amen.๐Ÿ™ @TET-G@

Send Help, Oh Lord God Of Hosts!

๐ŸŒป Mighty Warrior!๐ŸŒป

๐ŸŽถMighty Man of War, Lion of Judah, … Yahweh! Yahweh! Come and do what only You can do!๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŒžSaturday Greetings To You!๐ŸŒž

Today’s Reminder: “Psalms 69:6 (KJV) Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

Here in this verse, the psalmist did not want others who trusted in God to feel discouraged by the opposition of his critics. He like many of us was mindful of those who stood with him in the decisions that drew criticism. As devoted Believers in Christ, we must always remember that we walk on this earth as representatives for Him. Many times we will be forced to make decisions that stray far from the “popular vote” and so we may capture the attention of critics. For people who do not know the Christ in whom we believe or for those who are skeptical, we may become the subject of their discussions. Based on our actions, we possess the power to either convert, or turn them away. We do not want to have others attaching negative connotations unto the Christian faith simply because we misrepresented Christ. The onus is upon us as Believers to let others see our joy for God, our strength in Him and His graceful and merciful character. Through us, they should see that this is the only way to truly rejoice in life, and to find salvation.

Often when life’s blows hit HARD, many critics tend to question the Believers’ faith and the God in whom they believe. Let’s take a look at the life of Job. His own wife questioned his faith and suggested to him “curse God and die”. Job however KNEW in whom He had believed and knew well that even when God is silent, He is still providential. Like in the story of Job, it is BEST to stand with God in brokenness, than to be wholesome without Him. Job’s faithfulness to Christ amidst all His brokenness afforded him the luxury of seeing the goodness of God in the land of the living. Truth be told, God may not show up how and when we would like Him to but be affirmed that when He does show up, He shows out and absolutely NOTHING remains the same. Have you been waiting on God for something? Do you think He is taking too long? God’s promises are SETTLED! Unlike human beings who are fickle, our God is FAITHFUL!

Dear Jesus thank You for the reminder in Your word that You never leave us nor forsake us. We are grateful that even when You are fast asleep while we are in a storm, we can run to You for rescue. Thank You Daddy that winds and waves obey Your voice. We decree and declare that every other power must be subjected unto You. Teach us patience and commitment as we keep You FIRST PLACE. In Jesus’ name. Amen ๐Ÿ™ @TET-G@

When You Open Up, The Lord Will Come IN!

๐ŸŒปThe Lord Is At The Door!๐ŸŒป

๐ŸŽถEnter my Chamber, be free Holy Spirit. Speak to me gently as I close the door. Heavenly Lover, let Thy presence hover…๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŒžWednesday Greetings To You!๐ŸŒž

Today’s reminder says: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Revelation 3:20 KJV”

The motion of knocking is indicative of two things: (1) that we desire to be admitted; and, (2) that we acknowledge the right of the person (s) who dwells in the house to open the door to us or not, as it pleases him/her. Jesus Christ desires having intimate fellowship with all people/the whosoever. He urges us through His patient, compassionate knock, to open our heart’s door and to invite Him in for intimate fellowship. He does not obtrude himself upon us, nor does he employ force to find admission to our hearts. When God is allowed entrance into our hearts, He enters, He takes whatever the individual may offer to Him, and He gives to that person out of His vast riches.

God in all His greatness does not remain in His place and call to the servant whom He loves, rather, He comes down Himself to seek him; He who is all-rich arrives at the lodging of the pauper, with His own voice intimates His yearning love and seeks a similar return. “If any man hear” – for man is not compelled; Christ knocks, but does not break open the door, if admitted, He comes in and dwells with us; on the contrary, if rejected, He turns quietly away – perhaps to return and knock again, or perhaps never to come back. Whenever God steps into our situation based on invitation, He makes SOMETHING out of NOTHING!He turns WATER into WINE! He EXALTS valleys and DESTROYS mountains! He turns a MESS into a MESSAGE! Will you invite Him in today? He sure can FIX IT all.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for today. Your Word has entered and it has shed light. No longer are we in darkness as it relates to Your stubborn love towards us. The love that led You to the tree. The love that allows You to gently and patiently knock at our heart’s door. The love that causes You to change our entire story once You enter our hearts and the love that causes You never to leave us comfortless. May we all embrace, accept and cherish Your undying love as we keep You FIRST PLACE! In Jesus’ name. Amen.๐Ÿ™ @TET-G@
